BrowserMask for Safari 1.0

BrowserMask is an extension for Safari that enables users to browse websites as if they were using a different browser by modifying the User Agent transmitted to websites by Safari. This functionality allows users to present any website with the appearance of being accessed through alternative browsers such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

One noteworthy feature of BrowserMask is its ability to customize the masked browser for individual websites, with these configurations being retained for future visits to any specific site. This capability proves to be particularly advantageous for websites that mandate the use of a distinct browser, despite being fully compatible with Safari, or to circumvent certain inconveniences. For instance:

• Configure Microsoft Edge as the masked browser when accessing bing.com to facilitate using Bing Chat directly from Safari.
• Mask macOS Safari as the browser when browsing reddit.com on iOS Safari to eliminate intrusive "Open in the Reddit App" prompts.

BrowserMask is supported across macOS, iOS, and iPadOS platforms.

• To activate the BrowserMask Extension, navigate to the Extensions section within Safari settings.
• BrowserMask features an array of common browsers pre-installed, and users have the flexibility to incorporate any custom browser by specifying its User Agent manually.
